 Good alternative to sometimes boring nutsMay 15, 2009
I'm a nut-a-holic. I eat a few handfuls every day quite religiously for all of the usual reasons - good fat, fights cancers, satisfying, etc. But sometimes I just get tired of the taste which made Sahale snacks a small revelation. I was hesitant to buy these initially because they seemed a bit overpriced, but I bought them anyway and the taste made the additional cost worth it. Its a very unique blend and it's very generous with the nut content - ie 80%+ nuts.
Great for snacking, highly recommended.

I love these nut snacks and was delighted to find the subscription price on amazon.com so much cheaper than my local healthfood store. However the freshness of each order was unpredictable, and when amazon's price went up....and my always fresh health food store price went down (almost always on sale).....sorry, I cancelled my subscription. I did not want the bother of retuning the very un-fresh packages to Amazon, but if ever I get a local batch...returns will be easy!!

I've ordered this flavor in both the smaller packages and the bigger ones. I haven't tried the other Sahale flavors because this one is so unbelievably good. The product is very fresh, attractively packaged and has a touch of spices that makes them different from other brands of trail mix that are sometimes too salty, too bland or too sweet. I love this stuff (whenever I can wrestle a bag from my husband)!

This is my favorite of all the Sahale snacks. Crunchy macadamias and hazelnuts, dried mango and papaya...delicious!

I got addicted to Sahale's snacks from the Tully's Coffee that was downstairs at work. After pretty much buying them out they didn't restock in enough time so I decided to take matters into my own hands and buy in bulk from Amazon. My 3 favorites are Socorro, Ksar and Soledad. If you want a healthy snack that tastes like you're indulging in sinful goodness then this is the snack for you.
